Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod

Deb Quinn Munson

Within the natural elements of water and sky I find nearly everything I need to compose and create paintings filled with reflection, movement, color, depth, light and atmosphere. This inspiration along with a desire to keep my message simple and clear result in paintings of the world that feel peaceful and beautiful.

In very simple terms I make art because it allows me to be most nearly myself. In the creation of my art I communicate my fundamental range of emotion and expression. It is the foundation upon which I share how I see the world around me. My studio with its smell of paint, the familiar clutter and the invitation to begin anew is the door that opens into my heart and soul.
