Autumn Trees

Pastel on La Carte pastel paper

I often paint the intense colors of the Autumn Landscape. In this pastel I tried to capture the contrast between the cooler shadows and the warm colors of Autumn. I often paint in this area. The rolling hills add a directional flow to the composition.
